Jaguar XJ family will be at the upcoming New York Auto Show expanded for the sports version XJR. After just one image that appeared last week, Jaguar has now released a complete set of official photos of this model, as well as specific details.
Under its hood is a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a supercharger who is paired with eight-speed automatic transmission and which has 550 HP at 6500 r / min, and 680 Nm of torque (at 2500-5500 r / min.). Acceleration to 60mph takes 4.6 seconds and top speed is limited to 170mph. If you are interested, factory data says that the combined fuel consumption is 11.6 l/ on 60mile, while CO2 emissions are 270 grams per mile.
XJR also highlights attractive styling with modified bumpers, front spoiler, sills, black honeycomb grill, and there are new ‘Farallon’ 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sports exhaust system, modified suspension, improved governance, stronger brakes (discs 380 mm and 376 mm), red brake pliers and interior trim.
There will be a 10-color exterior, and there is a sound system with 18 speakers of 825 watts. Besides XJR Jaguar models in New York will showcase the F-Type roadster, and the XJ and XF in versions with all four wheels drive.
