Shortly after the promotion of CC100 speedster, Aston Martin, continuing with the celebration of the centennial, presented another interesting novelty. It’s the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S with maximum speed of 205mph.
Compared to the standard V12 Vantage, the S among others received a revised front end with a black mask, a more powerful V12 engine, seven-speed automated manual transmission (instead of the manual six-speed), lighter exhaust system and interior trim.
Under the hood is a 5.9-liter V12 engine with 565Hp and 620 Nm of torque, which is 55Hp and 50 Nm more than the Aston Martin V12 Vantage. It should be noted that the V12 Vantage S model has three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Track. Factory did not released information of the acceleration from 0 to 60mph, but is estimated to be less than 4.0 seconds.
Also, the V12 Vantage S weighs 1665 kg, 15 kg lighter than the standard V12 Vantage model, and has a carbon-ceramic brakes, Dynamic Stability Control system, new 10-spoke light alloy wheels, black roof option, a revised rear bumper, openings air on the hood and carbon fiber interior trim (Alcantara, leather, a touch of carbon fiber lightweight sports seats …).
Deliveries of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is announced for later this year, and the price will definitely be higher than the $205,000 how much is the V12 Vantage.
