If you’ve wondered how looks lingerie worthy of royalty, here is the answer: 24 karat gold lingerie by the house of Rococo Dessous. A former Victoria’s Secret designer Breanna Lee took care for this unique collection which is inspired by royal women in history such as Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette and Tsarina Alexandra.
This 24-carat gold collection consists of solid gold bra and lingerie sets, afternoon tea, cigars, iPads, smartphones, nail polish, facial, and even a lollipop, ranges in price from $3,000 to $6,000 for a set.
The entire collection featuring gilded bras, underwear, and nightgowns includes embroidery in 24-karat gold thread, which comes from a special Swiss gold fabric.
The Marie Antoinette pieces, for example, come in an all-gold set and a black-on gold set, both with elaborate floral detailing made with the opulent thread.
“The desire for gold fashion was born in the world’s first grand civilization in Egypt, where Tutankhamun wore linens embroidered with the precious metal,” the Rococo Dessous website explains.
The extravagant items can only be purchased by private appointment in select boutiques, where interested parties can order an extra jewels and pearls, ofcourse for an extra fee.
