This year Porsche celebrates 50 year anniversary of its legendary 911 (of in 1963 till now sold more than 820,000 units) and is prepared for the occasion its special festive edition. It is 911 50 Years Edition (based on the 911 Carrera S), whose production is limited to 1963 copies exactly, as a reminder of the year of the premiere its first generation.
The 911 50 Years Edition (which has a six-cylinder engine and 400Hp) will be able in Graphite Grey, Geyser Grey and Black color. Limited 911 boasts Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Bi-Xenon headlights, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) SportDesign mirrors, special 20-inch wheels (inspired by the classic Fuchs wheels), chrome strips on the air gap between the panel and the rear light, “911 50” badge at the rear, sport seats with the middle part which is inspired by ‘Pepita ‘tartan design from the sixties, the details of aluminum, satelite-navigation system and media system with 4.6-inch color screen.
911 50 Years Edition from 0 to 60mph comes in 4.5 seconds and will be exposed in September IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, where 50 years ago shows the first 911. Price for 911 50 years edition is $158,511.
