Like the Dragon, Snake 2013 collection is a limited edition, made with the aim of celebrating a specific one out of 12 in the Chinese zodiac. The pen is created by the oldest Italian manufacturer of fine writing utensils, and a bold, powerful statement designed to embody all the virtues of topics represented.
By taking sixth place in the Chinese zodiac, the snake symbolizes the diverse character traits including intelligence, gracefulness and materialism. Metal cylinder surrounding the deep reddish-brown color, made of special material pearl “Pietro”, which in Italian means stone. The special edition has been fitted with ebonite feeders and 18K gold nibs, fed by a piston filling system. The Montegrappa Snake 2013 Hand Painted fountain pen in silvers cost $11,800 while the roller ball pen is up for $9,700. All items are numbered, and selling in gift packaging, or in elegant wooden boxes.
