Gibraltar is a tiny British territory on the southern tip of Spain. They, in lack of land, came up with an idea for luxury hotel. They are putting up a five star yacht in the marina and called it a luxury hotel Sunborn Gibraltar. It will cost around $200 million and will be moored permanently to function practically as an extension of the land.
This hotel is 142-meter long and has 189 rooms, spa and gym, cocktail lounges, conference rooms, and even a ballroom. The whopping boat, originally built in Malaysia, will be attached to the dock via six superstrong hydraulic arms, each weighing eight tons. It is expected to cost between $300 and $3,000 per night.
