Caterham is in the last days attracted attention of media regarding the new models that will be incurred in association with Renault (sporty two-seater city car and SUV), but before that, the British, for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, have prepared Caterham model 620R. The 620R is the most extreme road version and replaces R500 Superlight. To drive is selected 2.0-liter Ford Duratec engine that is used in the models R400 and R500 Superlight, but it is increased to 311Hp at 7700 r / min. and 297 Nm of torque.
Caterham says the 620R from 0 to 60 mph comes in a 2.79 seconds. Data on weight so far is not listed but based on the name of the car, it is assumed that the relation power / weight is 620KS per ton. Caterham 620R among other things has 13-inch alloy wheels, Avon ZZR tires, carbon-fiber elements in the interior, racing seats, Q / R racing wheel. 620R will be available later this year, and its price in the British market is 49,995 pounds ($74,500), which is about 7,500 pounds ( $11,200) more than R500 models.
