Few days ago, Amazon announced the launch of new site where you can buy the fine works of art. The leading online marketplace, Amazon has partnered with more than 150 galleries and dealers across the US to sell more than 40,000 works of art through their new site – Amazon Art. Artworks from over 4,500 artists are sold by individual galleries including Paddle8 in New York City, Holden Luntz Gallery in Miami and The McLoughlin Gallery and Modernbook Gallery in San Francisco. Works range from a $200 Clifford Ross photograph to a Norman Rockwell painting listed for $4.85 million.
As with other online departments, the store can be browsed by Artists (including Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali), Departments (e.g., Drawings, Pantings, Prints), Subject (including Abstract, Nature, Animals, People) and Style (e.g., Art Photography, Impressionism, Postmodern & Contemporary), or by seller and price range, and even by dominate colors
