Designer Robert van Embricqs presenting his new creation, the Rising Furniture, an aesthetic pleasing yet interesting way of transforming out of a flat surface. It comes in variety of ways and we will present to you three new models from this collection. The rising chair emphasize the natural shape an object can made by transforming itself. Every piece of the chair has his own task to succeed in this transformation.
The Rising Side Table, an accessory that adds a surprising new twist to the familiar theme. The Table design combines elegance and functionality. The table top is carved from a single piece of wood, thereby increasing the table’s practical uses considerably. The Rising Side Table forms to create a sturdy latticework that appears to be in a perpetual wave like motion.
The Rising Table concept is part of the Rising furniture formula that finds its roots in the Rising Chair. This means that once again, the origins of this design can be traced back to the rather simple idea of starting with a flat surface that is capable of transforming into a piece of stylishly designed furniture. In designing the Rising Table it was of paramount importance that the source materials both dictated and guided the ultimate design, while ensuring practical appliance and usability.
