The gavel first fell at Pebble Beach back in 1990 and now the Pebble Beach Auctions, conducted by the highly regarded firm of Gooding & Company enjoys success and records. Company’s Saturday and Sunday evenings, are among the most attended and anticipated collector car events of all Pebble Beach Automotive Week. Company’s 10th Anniversary Pebble Beach Auctions realized more than $112 million and set 28 records. 116 of the 127 offered lots with an average price per lot of $965,67 have been sold during the sale, as well as 30 cars for over $1,000,000.

Top three sales included:
– 1957 Ferrari 250 GT 14-Louver Berlinetta at $9,460,000, a world record for a Ferrari 250 Tour de France
– 1997 McLaren F1 at $8,470,000, a world auction for the marque
– 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante at $8,745,000, a world auction for a Bugatti
The auction house has set numerous world records on the grounds of Pebble Beach, including the highest sale total in automotive auction history with $113.7 million in two days.
