Leonardo Di Caprio really makes confusion with his Malibu home. Looks like he isn’t sure whether want to sell it or not. The latest news is that ‘The Great Gatsby’ star has listed his stunning ocean front Malibu estate for $18.9 million. A year ago, Di Caprio asked $23 million to sell it and $75,000 monthly to rent it. Now, he changed his appetit and reduces a price for $4,1 million. Must to mention, he bought the property in 2002 for a more reasonable $6 million. Magnificent compound consists of three separate units: a four bedroom main unit, a detached two bedroom guest house and a one bedroom office space. The place has seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bathroom in total.
Built in 1927, the home features high ceilings with exposed beams, hardwood floors, large glass windows offering spectacular view. This oasis takes total advantage of the Malibu weather surrounded by lush greens lawns and pathways, sprawling sun-drenched deck and rooftop terrace that all lead directly to the sandy white beach.
And if ask why selling such a perfect celebrity nest, he reportedly spends most of his time in New York. He also owns a penthouse in Battery Park and apparently looking for a home in Manhattan.
