Pianos keep up with trends. After Steinway & Sons Louis XV-style giltwood grand piano, we introduce you New York Serenade, a custom Steinway & Sons grand piano designed by piano restoration company Piano Solutions XXI. Featuring antique look and style of the New York in early 20th century, this grand piano is result of collaboration between Gene Korolev, president and founder of Piano Solutions XXI and his daughter, Katherine Banyasz. It took one year to make it.
“It was essential for my design to reflect the independent spirit of the Roaring 20’s, when both jazz and the American dream were rattling the world,” says Banyasz. This stunning piano is adorned with 164,000 cubic zirconia stones that sparkle with various intensity, depending on the lighting condition in the room. Just the music leaf contain at least 10,000 stones. Images set in cubic zirconia stones show the skyline of New York on the piano lid, the moon shining over the city, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Brooklyn Bridge, Cotton Club, and Steinway Hall. That’s the reasons why it is The Million Dollar Custom Piano.
Beside it’s extravagant design, this piano has a superb sound. Live-Performance Model LX high-resolution player system is included, with advanced trap-work mechanism.
The piano can be previewed at company’s private boutique showroom and workshop in Hollywood by appointment only. For more information, visit http://www.pianosxxi.com.
