World renowned pop artist and lifetime NYC resident Charles Fazzino has gave a totally new look to our favorite good old-fashioned board game – Monopoly. Now, the game has 3D appearance and a NYC theme. It boasts in cartoon-esque illustrative style throughout every detail, from the newly designed money to the iconic NYC-themed game pieces.
“New York is my heart, my soul, my main inspiration and my home. I have lived here all my life and I am most well-known for painting New York City,” Fazzino says. So, no wonder why NYC is theme for new Monopoly.
He has recreated the whole game, down to the tokens, wooden houses and hotels (skyscraper like, of course), and deed cards. To top it off, his artwork is adorned with over 170 crystals and foil accents.
Packaged in a l 2” deep hardwood case with a glass top, new Monopoly is priced at $500. It is limited to only 2000 pieces. Each is signed and numbered by Fazzino.
