Chevrolet used the Texas State Fair to display to the public concept vehicle based on the new generation of its pick-up model Silverado. New Chevrolet Silverado Black Ops is described as a survival kit for a four-wheeled project. It has LED lights, winch, new sills, wheel arch extensions, alloy wheels 18-inch off-road tires and generator, buckets for water and fuel, a couple of gas masks, gloves, shovels, military first aid kit, a crate of food with Top Ramen and Twinkies and much more.
This all-wheel drive vehicle is powered by 5.3-liter V8 engine with 265 kW/355Hp and 518 Nm of torque which is paired with a six-speed automatic.
