Bugaboo continues to unfold the authenticity, style and originality of Andy Warhol’s extraordinary legacy. Earlier this year, Bugaboo released an Andy Warhol strollers and accessories, and due to its popularity, the brand which has made a mark amongst the ‘high-life’ of wealthy parents has now added two new Warhol-inspired collection.
The first collection is inspired by Happy Bug Day, one of Warhol’s earlier art pieces (1954), which includes dark fabric designs for baby carriages with a whimsical and happy tone. These covers can fit a few of the Bugaboo strollers such as the Bugaboo Donkey and the Bugaboo Sun Canopy. The second collection replicates Warhol’s So Many Stars, is based on the ‘So Many Stars’ illustration and comes to colorful life on a white background, with the Bugaboo Cameleon3 Tailored Fabric Set. And, to provide a younger generation with an appreciation for pop art, this stroller comes with an exclusive “So” book for children showing rediscovered Warhol’s So images, some of which have never before been published.
To celebrate the Warhol’s ability to create works that transcend any age or time period, there is also an app version of the book. The money made from the app sales, which costs $3,63, goes to The Andy Warhol Foundation.
