German hosiery company Falke is famous for it’s luxurious selection of hosiery. The company’s last creation set the world’s record for the most expansive pair of socks. These limited edition Falke socks are made of vicuna wool. Vicuna fleece is the rarest, most expensive natural fiber in the world. Its insulating properties make it warmer than classic wool. And with an average of only 12 microns, vicuna fiber is much finer than cashmere, which reaches 17 microns, making it the softest and most expensive wool in the world.
This most expensive socks are limited to only 10 pairs, priced at € 860 ($1,155) per pair. Falke will also offer a limited edition of 20 pullovers (10 V-neck and 10 roll-neck) worldwide, each priced at € 2,400 ($3,220).
