Fans of innovation in watchmaking will certainly be delighted with new masterpiece from the company Devon Works. The luxe version of its belt display wristwatch (famous Tread 1), the Tread 1G comes in 18k yellow gold and black DLC coated stainless steel, and is made to order. Developed with the participation of the California aerospace company, this unique watch uses a special system of “Time Belts” to display the hours and minutes in exacting motion, while the seconds indicator continuously counts the seconds.
Devon’s most extravagant version to date features masterlinks, crown, buckle, motor covers, and indicator plate made of solid gold, while other components are crafted in black DLC stainless steel. The Tread 1G has the same dimensions as the base model Tread 1 – 53.3mm x 47mm and 19mm thick. It retails for $35,000 and is made to order.
