Based on popularity of Bright Crystal edition released in 2006, Versace is launching a stronger version of the original fragrance. New fragrance, called Versace Bright Crystal Absolu, comes in a bright fuchsia glass bottle with an elegant jewel-like cap, and a box with a classic Versace patterned design. Signed by Alberto Morillas, (who is also behind the original Versace Bright Crystal, as well as numerous fragrances for Marc Jacobs, Bulgari, and Nina Ricci), the new scent features top notes of Yuzu and pomegranate, middle notes of raspberry, lotus flower, peony and magnolia and base notes of Acajou wood, vegetal amber and musk.
The advertising campaign features Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel as the face of the new fragrance, dressed in glittery evening gown holding a bottle of the new Versace perfume in her hand.
The eau de parfum is currently available in Italy, while it will roll out in Europe and North American in time for Valentine’s Day next year. Versace Bright Crystal Absolu will be available in two sizes, 50 ml ($84) and 90 ml ($110).
