If you like the Renault Twizy electric minicar and you still don’t believe that people are looking at you, here is the tiny electric two-seater painted as work of art. It’s so unusual to see – the Renault Twizy revised and corrected by the Dutch artist Jacques Tange. The design is unique and attracts the eye due to its cheerful look, matching the privacy of children. Straight out of Tange’s imagination, the Renault Twizy has been designed around the theme of nature.
Leaves, clouds, trees and various animals enthroned in effect on different body parts of the electric vehicle. So, no wonder why the Renault and the Dutch artist decided that the car will be auctioned off to raise money for a Dutch foundation KiKa who fight against childhood cancer. The car goes under the hammer during a special event KiKa on March 30, 2014.
This is not the first time the Renault Twizy is transformed by an artist and turned into workart. Already in 2012, the Italian painter Paolo Gonzato had seized the vehicle to make a version quite closely resembling the Harlequin costume, that is to say, adorned with multicolored diamonds.
