Why waste time? Although Christmas fever still reigns, Blancpain already has an idea for Valentine’s day. The Swiss watchmaker has launched a sweet romantic female wristwatch for 2014 in the same manner as previous models beginning from 2011. Unique charming and elegant timepiece arrives in 33 mm-diameter, crafted from white gold and features a diamond-clad bezel white a mother-of-pearl dial with two engraved hearts and a red transferred heart highlighted by diamond time-markers at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock, interspersed with seven chatons and a date display at 3 o’clock. The bezel of the case is also decorated with a row of precious white diamonds, totaling about 0.9 carats. It comes on a white leather strap.
At its heart is the Blancpain Calibre 1150, which is equipped with a silicon balance-spring that is non-magnetic and maintains a more enduring constant running speed, so the movement is very reliable and it runs on about 100 hours of power reserve.
The 2014 Valentine’s Day will be limited to only 99 pieces.
