No one is surprised with an official announcement that the third generation of the Audi TT is coming in car showrooms next year. The last few months the new TT was ‘caught’ in testing in Europe and it was clear that we will not wait long for a new Audi sports car. The first generation was launched in 1998, while the current model is on the market since 2006. The new model will be lighter, making it sportier than its predecessors, but it will not bring any revolution, but an evolutionary step forward compared to the current mode.
The platform for the car is taken from A3, and three main engines will be the petrol 1.4 and 1.8 and 2.0 liter diesel. It is likely that the third-generation of Audi TT will also get TTS and TT RS versions.
