Electric toothbrush – one of the best innovation in past years! But it’s not the pinnacle. The French startup company – Kolibree has designed a tootbrush that will raise dental hygiene on the highest level. Introduced at CES 2014, in Las Vegas, this quirky gadget is actually the world’s first Internet-connected toothbrush which lets users keep exact track, through its mobile app, of how they brush their teeth. The smart toothbrush uses an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer to analyze brushing habits and display them on a mobile dashboard the user can readily access from their Android or iOS device.
The concept is simple. Just download the free mobile app, connect via Bluetooth, and every brushing is recorded with a set of relevant data, which can later be viewed and analyzed via the mobile app. You can easily share your stats with your dentist and family, or not. Designed for families, the app works with several toothbrushes so the entire family can participate.
Kolibree’s smart tootbrush will be available in the third quarter of 2014 and retail for $99.00 to $199.00 depending on the model.
