Mercedes has officially presented the successor of the current model Viano, which is now called the V class. The new V class will be presented to the public at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, and from the March the factory will start to receive orders. As it was anticipated, the appearance of the new V class does not represent a special surprise, and attention is focused on more spacious interior with higher quality materials, and a rich variety of modern electronic systems.
The car will be offered in several versions with space for up to 8 passengers. Initially, customers will be able to get a 2.1 -liter four-cylinder diesel engine V220 CDI with 136Hp and 330 Nm, Mercedes V220 CDI with 163Hp and 380 Nm, and V250 model Mercedes BlueTEC with 190Hp and 440 Nm. V250 BlueTEC has a standard 7G – TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission.
The package, among other things (depending on grade) boasts the AGILITY CONTROL suspension, electro- mechanical power steering, Lane Keeping and Blind Spot Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Park Assistant, 360 ° camera, DISTRONIC PLUS ( with COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST included) LED Intelligent Light System, PRE -SAFE, COMAND Online and much more.
