Ferrari will officially introduce, previously announced “149m Project”, and as it was assumed, it is a modernized version of the current model California. The letter M in the codename of the project means the modification, and the evolution of the current California, while the official name of the car is California T. The California T, whose look was inspired by Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has a redesigned front end with a larger grille, hood with air vents, and redesigned bumper trim, sills and mirrors.
Besides the exterior and interior, suspension and steering systems have undergone significant modification. There is F1 traction control system, while the 3.8 liter biturbo engine with 560Hp and 755 Nm of torque is paired with a seven- transmission with double clutch. Acceleration, of the 1625 kg heavy car, to 60mph takes 3.6 seconds while top speed is 196mph.
Hard top roof is made of aluminum and folds for just 14 seconds. The car will be displayed in March at the Geneva Motor Show, and delivery, at some earlier announcements, are expected in May. Price is not yet known, although unofficially is expected to remain the same as current California model.
