Marie-Hélène de Taillac is jewelry designer known for her famous “arrangements” of stones, while Ladurée is luxury bakery and sweets maker house. Both brands are French and beside that, both share a love of color and a passion for living with style. So, no wonder their collaboration resulted with a luxurious gift box for macarons. Her splendid gift box depicts de Taillac’s “Rainbow” necklace, featuring gold sequins and the piece’s multicolored briolette gemstone. “Macarons précieux” (Precious macarons) includes six colorful flavors, hand selected by de Taillac: chocolate, cassis violet, rose petal, lemon, orange blossom and pistachio. The confections are all brightly colored, a nod to the designer’s multihued gems.
These beautiful limited edition boxes will only be available from February 21 in Ladurée stores, priced at $24. To celebrate the partnership, Ladurée will also display Marie-Hélène de Taillac-inspired window installations.
