Dolce&Gabbana has 45 perfumes in their fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1992 and the newest is from 2014. This latest fragrance for women is simply dubbed ‘Dolce‘. According to Stefano Gabbana, Dolce is “a translation into fragrance of a young new love that will, by virtue of it’s innocence, retain its youthful vitality.” Described as a contemporary, feminine and fresh scent, ‘Dolce‘ is a gentle mix of white flowers, introduced by the freshness of the Neroli leaves and defined by the White Amaryllis, a South African flower used for the first time ever in scent.
The elegant bottle has thick, clear glass with curved lines, giving it a vintage yet contemporary design. It also has a flower stopper with a black grosgrain ribbon.
The most personal touch is Dolce signed in black script, which is a replica of Domenico Dolce’s father’s own signature.
The face of the campaign is Canadian beauty Kate King, who previously appeared in the Italian label’s Baroque Jewelry advertisements.
Dolce is available at Saks Fifth Avenue. It comes in two sizes: 1.6oz for $90, and 2.5oz for $112.
