New Sunseeker 40-meter Luxury Yacht
Sunseeker continues its way into bigger sizes presenting the project of the 40-meter Yacht set to launch in the coming September Southampton boat show (10th – 19th September 2010). Developed following the popularity of the 37-metre yacht, of which nine have been delivered to date and the subsequent success of the 34-metre yacht – 12 delivered to date, 30-metre yacht – 10 delivered to date and Predator 130 – two delivered to date, the new 40-metre yacht incorporates all the best elements of the 37-metre, but also enjoys other exciting new elements like balconies and increased exterior deck spaces.
Offering accommodation for up to 12 guests AND 9 crew members, the 24-knot, 40 meter flagship superyacht has a range of up to 1,500 nautical miles. The luxury yacht comes with an amazing choice of cabin configurations and options include the newly introduced automated balconies to the forward master suite and main deck. The stern of the yacht enjoys a more streamlined profile and a sharp, ocean-going bow as compared to the brand’s very popular 37-meter yacht.
Light is a major feature of the vessel. Following classification approval the large, panoramic portlights, a trademark on smaller Sunseekers, have been incorporated into the guest cabins of the lower deck of the 40 Metre, transforming the side profile of the Yacht and allowing the lower deck guest cabins to bathe in natural light. Other high-tech features include touchscreen controlled lighting system, audio visual system on the main and upper decks with Bang & Olufsen equipment.
The yacht will be available to view at the Southampton Boat Show at marina berth M540.
