What distinguishes Grace Santorini Hotel from other good Santorini hotels is the view of course, and its infinity pool which is nothing short of sublime. Located in the beautiful setting of Imerovigli in the northwest of the island, high above the Caldera, the Grace Santorini is the perfect vantage point from which to view the famed Santorini sunsets . The hotel has two beautiful swimming pools (amed one of “The Best Swimming Pools in the World” by Condé Nast Traveller UK,) including already mentioned infinity pool which boasts sweeping views of the Aegean Sea and the Caldera.
An exclusive 20-room hotel is designed by Athens-based studio Divercity Architects in collaboration with mplusm. It’s near colorless, crisp-edged, clean-lined and packed with modernist furniture, and yet still it looks perfectly at home. The modernly decorated rooms and suites feature design items and include a satellite TV, DVD player and a balcony. Some units also have a separate seating room and a plunge pool overlooking the sea.
The restaurant, bar, fitness center and treatment room complete the picture. The sea-view restaurant serves Mediterranean fusion cuisine in its elegant interior or at the terrace. A champagne breakfast is served daily, while guests can also enjoy cocktails, refreshments and light meals at the hotel’s pool bar.
The Grace Santorini is the new jewel of the Greek Islands and has been named among the Top 10 Hotels for Romance in Europe in the Trip Advisor Traveller’s Choice Awards 2010.
Grace Santorini is open seasonally, April through October, and does not allow children under the age of 14. A three night minimum is also required. Rates per night vary from €375 ($521) to €1050 ($1,460), depending on the room type and the season.
