In the first 50 years of the past century, Alpina was a renowned manufacturer and official supplier of military aviation watches to continental air forces. So, Alpina’s long tradition of pilot watches inspires the clean design of the new Startimer Pilot Automatic Sunstar. The watch comes in a 44 mm, anti-reflective satin-finished stainless steel case. Large, luminescent numerals, a characteristic feature of flight instruments, stand out on a dial that incorporates numerous elegant touches.
A refined sunray finish against sophisticated anthracite grey, an applied minute circle and, of course, Alpina’s signature red triangle on the central seconds hand make this watch the ideal partner in all circumstances. The movement is automatic winding with 26 jewels and a 38 hours power reserve. A large screw-in crown finishes off the pilot look, and ensures water-resistance to 100 meters.
