Overlooking the white sands of Gibbs Beach in St. Peter, Barbados, you’ll find the Four Winds Estate. Beside being magnificent property, this 2.5-acre waterfront estate has been listed for $55 million and thus could become the most expensive home sale ever in Barbados. The 17,000-square-foot mansion features six-bedrooms – each with a balcony and a view over the Caribbean Sea. It also boasts a large blue pool, a tennis court, a gym and an octagonal gazebo overlooking the tropical beach.
Outside, the estate includes 350 feet of beachfront as well as a plethora of lush outdoor spaces that the selling agents say have been carefully maintained by the owners.
The previous owners, a British couple, “took great pride in their garden,” according to listing agent Paul B. Altman of Barbados-based Altman Real Estate, an associate of Savills.
