At this year’s Baselword, Hublot has launched some amazing pieces, about which have already written, and some will be described very soon. Today we look at new member of the Classic Fusion serie – Classic Fusion Power Reserve 8 days. This is a brand new introduction in the Classic fusion line and all of Hublot watch history. The 8 day power reserve is the first watch for Hublot with that characteristic – yet another achievement to be added to the brand history.
With just 4.40 mm thick and comprising 209 components including 33 jewels, the brand new movement is one of the flattest in the industry, with its power reserve indicator, date and small second on the dial side. The manually-wound movement ensures accurate, reliable operation of the watch for 8 days – 192 hours – at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. The movement can be admired through the transparent sapphire crystal case-back, which reveals the beauty of the mechanism.
Its 45 mm classic fusion case boasts a harmonious and balanced black dial with a sunray satin finish produces subtly plays with the light and, with its baton indexes and gold- or rhodium-plated hands, goes beautifully with either King Gold (extra precious gold containing 5% platinum) or titanium, which are the two versions available for this new model.
The watch comes on a strap with a deployant buckle, in black alligator leather sewn onto tone-on-tone rubber for comfort, flexibility and increased durability of the leather. Water resistant is up to 50 metres.
