Here is one more smart bed. The Balluga bed, created by Joe Katan from North London, is the world’s first smart interactive bed that contains a computer able to contour the bed to fit your body’s shape, and also offers vibrating massage and a surround sound entertainment system. It has an inbuilt temperature control system, which can heat or cool varying parts of the bed and safety features including an emergency smoke alarm and fire detectors. Bed can also sync to entertainment systems and project images onto walls.
For more entertainment – the bed can also be hooked up to your game console, and let’s say if a grenade is tossed at you in a video game, the bed will shake from the shock the same way the gamepad does.
The Balluga is made up of small air balls, covered by foam that adapt to suit any weight and size. 100% recyclable bed comes with a 20-year guarantee due to be sold via luxury brand VeryFirstTo from November 2014.
Of course, a smart bed of this quality doesn’t come cheap, and a small double mattress without additional functions is expected to retail from £999 ($1,657), with additional functions costing £99 ($164) and up.
The debut of the Balluga Smart Interactive Bed is set for April 8th at the Gadget Show Live in London.
