Buben & Zorweg made a great impression with numerous innovations at the Baselworld 2014. “We are delighted to impress our discerning customers and partners from the international press with our innovations each year”, say managing directors Harald Buben and Christian Zorweg in unison.
Among the highlights of this years show was their new proprietary Manufacture movement Caliber “Alpha 01 – Pendulum World Time” with Graham escapement and Carbon fiber pendulum rod that was introduced into three remarkable new creations.
Uniting zeitgeist with timelessness, the GRANDE INFINITY has at its core the new Buben & Zorweg pendulum clock equipped with the proprietary “Alpha 01 – Pendulum World Time” movement. The light of the sophisticated LED system reveals the thrilling details of the movement’s precision mechanics, framed by TIME MOVER modules capable of concealing a valuable collection of watches trough its remote controlled “Magic Swing & Hide Mechanism”. Underneath, a certified VDS Class I safe doubles up as a solid base for the GRANDE INFINITY.
The first floor clock from the House of Buben & Zorweg is the INFINITY, whose refreshing clear lines immediately set new standards for this category of precision timepieces. With a 31-day power reserve, this masterpiece of elitist craftsmanship will allow the enjoyment of countless precious moments watching the passing of time with each swing of its pendulum.
Begun last year with the extraordinary One Perpetual Calendar, for 2014 Buben & Zorweg presented the following chapter of his fascinating complicated wristwatch saga. The ONE TOURBILLON presents its thrilling, name-giving complication with a spectacular large diameter of 14,1mm. A true feast for the eyes, this high-precision masterpiece is strictly limited to 25 pieces, and is supplemented by a TIME MOVER HANDWOUND that reliably keeps the movement in top shape through a six-day power reserve.
As the main focus of this year was on fine timepieces, the house of Buben & Zorweg also presented a new table clock called ALLURE.
Buben & Zorweg and their TIME MOVER are the world market leader in watch winders for the luxury segment. Instead of resting on well-deserved laurels, Buben & Zorweg launched a new ergonomic watch holder with “safety catch” mechanism and therewith continues setting benchmarks for watch winders.
Rendering time in its most beautiful form, the SILHOUETTE seems to blur the boundaries between work of art and elegant object of design. The new wall clock by Buben & Zorweg makes a generous use of glass, focusing the gaze on its fine timepiece that uses the same movement that is at work in the GRANDE INFINITY and the INFINITY.
