Chanel is popping up again in St. Tropez this summer. For the fifth year running, Chanel has taken up its summer residence in Saint-Tropez and this year it’s poolside at the 19th century mansion house La Mistralée Hotel, inspired by its rodeo-themed Paris-Dallas ready-to-wear collection. Chanel’s “ephemeral boutique”, features a millefeuille of translucent paper on the ceiling, designed to direct movement through the space. Reminiscent of the American flags that fluttered above the runway shown in Dallas, Texas last December, this airborne foliage moves with the breeze and is in the colours of the Paris-Dallas collection.
The Chanel St. Tropez shop isn’t just for shopping, although you can satisfy all your Chanel needs there. Luxurious gardens, comfortable chairs and parasols surround the pool house, which houses the brand’s beachwear, towels and high summer accessories. The pool house is also the home to skincare, make-up and fragrance collections.
The Chanel Saint-Tropez boutique will be open April 26th straight through until October 2014.
