Concierge Auctions announced that the largest privately owned island in the Bahamas goes under the hammer on May 15th at Trump SoHo New York. The property in question is Innocence Island, which will be sold to the highest bidder at or above a $10 million reserve in cooperation with George Damianos of Damiano’s Sotheby’s International Realty. Nearly 7,000 acre of paradise complete with its airstrip and six beaches, as well as 681 acres of native fruit trees, tropical foliage and terraced hills, this island is chance not to be missed.
Other luxury features include the spectacular residence on the island, which is a high-end property totaling 3,000 square feet of space. The six-bedroom, six and a half-bathroom is located on one of the island’s highest points, offering panoramic views of Innocence Island and its surroundings. The property also features a hillside bungalow property that includes a fitness center and meditation deck overlooking the bay. The island offers guests many spots that allow for a number of activities such as deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, jogging and bird watching on the island’s 15 miles of nature trails.
Innocence Island is part of the exclusive Exuma chain of islands, many of which are owned by A-list celebrities such as Johnny Depp and Tim McGraw. Although relatively secluded, Innocence offers great access by boat to Little Exuma, the main island in the chain, where guests can explore some of the Bahamas’ cultural heritage.
Innocence Island originally had a price tag of $55 million.
