Next year, the S3 company (Swiss Space Systems) will be organizing its first weightless ZeroG flights to a broad public. Breitling is the official watch sponsored and partner of this project, so all passengers will wear an exclusive chronograph specially designed for this experience.
The S3 ZeroG Chronograph reminiscent of the old Breitling Chrono Avenger M1, and features a black titanium case and a SuperQuartz chronograph movement. The S3 logo is displayed on both the dial as well as the -thus unique- rubber strap, as well as by its caseback engraving depicting a parabolic flight.
All those who spend € 5,000 ($6,800) or more on tickets will receive Breitling S3 ZeroG Chronograph watches as a gift after their flight.
The ZeroG project will begin in 2015 in over 15 locations around the world, including Asia, the Middle East and Central America. These flights of around two hours aboard an Airbus will each include 15 “parabolas” or free floats lasting between 20 to 25 seconds and providing a chance to experience total weightlessness by floating as if in space.
