Auction house, Auctions America, came into possession of a copy of the beautiful Ferrari F40, which was owned by the famous singer Rod Stewart. The seller claims that the car is in ‘perfect mechanical condition, “and that is driven less than 13,000 miles. With a car, the new owner will get the original set of luggage for F40, as well as the original manual instruction, service history and protective cover. They say it is driven mainly in California.
Experts expect that this Ferrari F40 during bidding at auction can fetch something between $1,000,000 to $1,300,000. Depending on who’s talking, the Ferrari F40 is claimed to be one of the best supercars ever produced, and one of the last “real” Ferrari without computers, security systems and elements of comfort.
The car is powered by a bi-turbo V8 engine which develops about 500Hp. For the design was in charge Pininfarina studio, and bodywork panels are made of Kevlar and carbon fiber. Ferrari F40 was introduced in 1987, and total was made only 1,311 pieces.
