Auction House Auctions America sells another car owned by legendary actor Steve McQueen, Chevrolet El Camino SS 396. Chevrolet’s “pick-up” El Camino is probably still one of favorite “muscle” cars from the golden period of the ’60s and ’70s, and is especially popular SS 396 version with a V8 engine capacity of 6.5 liters, which releases 350 “horses”. However, this is surely the most sought copy from 1970, considering that its owner was none other than the legendary actor and racer Steve McQueen, who was this El Camino purchased as new, and has remained in his possession until his death in 1980.
