Jimmy Kimmel has listed his old Hollywood Hills house on sale, asking $2,299,000. Famous comedian, voice actor, actor, screenwriter, producer, musician, television host, and radio personality purchased the property in February 2002 for $925,000, but he hasn’t actually inhabited the place for half a decade. Since 2009, when he moved to a very contemporary Sunset Strip compound he picked up in December 2008 for $6 million the property was used as a rental.
However, the 1940’s two-story traditional house listed on sale features 3,605 square feet interior space with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
According to Variety, interior and exterior paint schemes were conceived by “Flipping Out” star Jeff Lewis and there are a dozen flat-screen televisions throughout the house. Other features of the house include custom designed gourmet kitchen, dining banquette with huge table for ten guests, a built-in entertainment unit with – natch – a large flat-screen television and a wet bar, recording studio…
Outdoor living and entertainment areas include a brick terrace just off the kitchen/breakfast area with an outdoor kitchen fully equipped with built-in barbecue, wood burning pizza oven, smoker and beer keg dispenser. A large, tree-shaded deck off the living room with sunken spa overlooks a lower terrace with pill-shaped pool.
