Convenient, malleable and lightweight, carbon is the preferred material in aeronautics, car racing, aerospace, sports and other domains that require lightweight, strength and performance. By combining carbon fibre and a strong polymer matrix, carbon fibre composites are simply reshaping the world of high performances. Bearing that in mind, Graham London decided to create the most resistant and lightest time machine – Graham Chronofighter Oversize Superlight Carbon. The 47mm case is made of Black Carbon Nanotube Composite and the whole watch is lighter than 100g. Its case is enhanced by a carbon trigger, bezel and dial.
It comes with red rubber bracelet with Clous de Paris Decoration and Black Carbon Pin Buckle clasp.
The Chronofighter Superlight Carbon is the first Chronofighter carbon-fibre-made watch combining complex and unprecedented machining processes.
The Graham Calibre G1747 powers the watch, which, with its familiar cam system, is recognizable as a re-worked Valjoux 7750.
Graham Chronofighter Oversize Superlight Carbon is available, priced at £6,970 ($11,550).
