Last year, actor Hank Azaria sold his apartment in New York City’s SoHo district for $8 million. Finally, the mystery buyer is revealed, that’s none other than Meg Ryan. She bought a home of her own just after recently split from her rocker boyfriend John Mellencamp after three-years of dating. Luxury 4,000-square-foot Soho loft has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, media room, a gym and an “atrium” hall.
The building, which bills itself as the largest co-op in SoHo, was once the site of the Nicholas Hotel in 1853.
Azaria bought the home in 2005 for $4.6 million from photographer and director Cindy Sherman. Prior to this sale, Azaria had the loft on the rental market for $16,000/month.
Ryan sold her home in Bel Air, California for $11.125 million in 2012 and still owns a rustic home in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
