“Real Housewives of New Jersey” member Teresa Giudice is trying to get rid of her home in Towaco, N.J. before potentially moving to the Big House! The star and her also star husband Joe Giudice are hoping to get $3.999 million. Not at all modest, since the couple purchased the home in 2002 for $530,000. In their difence, they didn’t move in until 2008 after years of renovations, and in 2012, the house reportedly was worth $1.2 million. But the Giuidices now hope to get a bit more, prior to their court date.
However, if they manage to find a buyer, the new owner could enjoy in lavishly decorated house. Currently, the home spans an area of 10,044 square feet, almost double the 5,000 square feet it initially was, and sits on 3.5 private acres. The luxury home now has six bedrooms and six bathrooms complete with marble floors, high tray and drywall ceilings, custom moldings, large glass windows and wide hallways and lots and lots of chandeliers.
The front door opens to 2 gold-trimmed Cinderella staircases under a massive crystal chandelier. The interior boasts formal living and dining areas, a gourmet eat-in kitchen with granite counter-tops and custom cabinetry, a study, lounge areas, a game room and play room. The master bedroom has three walk-in-closets and an en-suite bathroom with steam showers and a soaking tub as well. A girl’s bedroom is painted bright pink and outfitted with a cheetah-print sofa and a poster that says “Be Fabulous.”
Outside, the home has an open patio overlooking ample greens, a pond and parking space.
