Breitling launched its latest pilots watch and confirmed why it is the leading timepiece for aviators. Breitling Cockpit B50 is a stunning piece presented on a lightweight natural or black carbon-coated titanium case and bracelet. It features the new Breitling in-house super quartz movement which which is ten times more accurate than standard quartz. Designed for professionals, with a strong focus on aviators, the Cockpit B50 has a vast range of useful and innovative functions such as the chronograph with split-time and flyback capabilities, a second timezone display, a perpetual calendar, two alarms in buzzer and/or vibrate mode, a lap timer function as well as a countdown complete with alarm.
It also has an electronic tachometer, a countdown/countup system serving to switch directly from a countdown to a timing operation, as well as an eminently aviation-style “chrono flight” device which is useful for recording flight times by memorizing departure and arrival times as well as the date. The watch is priced at $7,290.
