Ferrari 458 Speciale model in the Coupe version was premiered last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and earlier this year appeared the information that the Italian company is also working on its Spider variants. Now it is definitely confirmed, and in front of us are the first official photos and details of the car, whose world premiere will take place early next month at the Paris Motor Show. The car is officially called the 458 Speciale A (A for “Aperta” – “open” in Italian), and will be offered in a limited edition of only 499 pieces.
The roof at Ferrari 458 Speciale A model opens / closes in 14 seconds, thanks to its aluminum construction the whole mechanism adds just 50 kg to the weight of the car, which in practice means that the 458 Speciale A is heavy 1340 kg.
Ferrari 458 Speciale A is powered by 4.5-liter V8 engine with 445 kW/605Hp at 9000 r / min. and 540 Nm of torque at 6000 r / min., Acceleration from 0 to 60mph is exactly 3.0 seconds.
Like the 458 Speciale Coupe, a 458 Speciale A is characterized by improved aerodynamics, modified suspension and exhaust system (with two tailpipes), racing lane (here, in Blu Nart and Bianco Avus color combination), Brembo brakes, Grigio Corsa-spoke alloy wheels of 20 inches, specially developed tires Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, F1-Trac traction control, E-Diff electronic differential and the new Side Slip Angle Control (SSC) system.
