Three innovations and studies, that is what Yamaha is prepared for the exhibition of motorcycles in Cologne. Concept three-wheeler with space design, and a special series model MT-07, are exposed next to the new version of the iconic XJR1300. Yamaha’s classic, except for the basic version at Intermot, was presented as XJR1300 Racer that the Japanese are prepared in cooperation with the tuner houses Wrenchmonkees and Deus Ex Machina.
Both motorcycles are based around the engine capacity 1,300 cc 100Hp and 108 Nm of torque. The look of the bike is modeled according to the suggestions of tuners Deus Ex Machina and Wrenchmonkees. They are left to create Racer version which brings carbon front grille, a new steering wheel and a series of elements that we can not found on a normal variant of this bike.
These elements have become part of Yamaha accessories with which each owner will be able to build a classic XJR1300 by his wish. New XJR1300 got a new fuel tank, and there is a new Öhlins reliance. Yamaha has announced the price, and so new XJR1300 costs 10,350 euros($12,950), while the Racer version should cost about 1,200 euros($1,500) more.
