Just in time for Halloween, De Grisogono creative director Fawaz Gruosi hosts Paris boutique party at its showroom to show off Crazy Skull Watch. Breaking free from conventions with a watch embodying the height of artisan jewelry and horology, Gruosi designed the watch which is if believe him: “You have to have a lot of character to wear it, because it’s quite visible.” With more than 890 diamonds, sapphires and rubies totaling 23 carats, dual time functions and a year’s worth of research, the Crazy Skull watch is a one of a kind.
Not to forget a playful mechanism allowing the skull to stick out its tongue, set with 66 pink sapphires or rubies and surrounded by white, baguette-cut diamond teeth.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss wore this unique watch during the party to show it to the press. “The most extravagant Halloween accessory. I feel a little nervous though, because there will be only 10 of these ever made,” Kloss said.
The Crazy Skull is to retail between 500,000 Euros and 650,000 Euros, or $632,500 to $822,250, depending on its ingredients, at de Grisogono boutiques.
