BMW has released photos and technical details of the new-generation of X5M and X6M models. Both cars are equipped with enhanced 4.4 liters V8 engine with 575Hp which makes them the most powerful production BMW vehicles with 4WD drive. Their new M variants will have a joint premiere at the upcoming Motor Show in Los Angeles in late November. X5M and X6M visually stand out from the standard version of BMW’s crossovers primarily by large air vents which take up almost the entire surface of the front bumper.
The cars are restyled also on the back, bumpers have been redesigned, and on their lower part there is a new integrated diffuser and four exhaust pipes. The wheels are 20 inch alloy wheels with wider tires, Pirelli P Zero (285/40 front and 325/35 rear). Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP (285/35 front and 325/30 rear), 21 inch wheels are available as an option. The color palette included two new, exclusive shades of blue and gray – Long Beach Blue Metallic and Grey Metallic Donington.
The driver and passengers will enjoy the cabin that is sports-oriented, with an “M” marks, sport leather seats and decorative details from aluminum and carbon fiber. Power is transferred to all 4 wheels via a new, M Steptronic automatic transmission.
BMW X5M and X6M from 0-60mph accelerates in 4.2 s, while the maximum speed is limited to 155mph. BMW X5M and X6M arriving in March 2015, and the starting price is 114.300 euros($144.000) for the X5M and 117,700 euros($148.000) for X6M.
