Cuixmala is a gorgeous chic retreat on the Pacific coast of Mexico, and is comprised of over 25,000 acres of eco reserve within which is a small uber chic 12 room luxury boutique hotel, 4 ultra luxurious private villas and a cluster of 10 one and two bedroom casitas. It was previously owned by multi billionaire Sir James Goldsmith and still owned by his daughter Alix Marcaccini. There, guests can enjoy the golden beaches, jungles & fruit plantations without seeing a soul before returning to their own private retreat, perfect for a romantic holiday.
You can stay at Casa Alborada – a stunning villa perched on a ridge overlooking a vast coconut plantation and the ocean beyond on Mexico’s Pacific coast known as the CostAlegre. It is located at the heart of the Cuixmala estate and has easy access to the numerous hiking, horseback riding and biking trails.
The villa, which was designed in the Cuixmala style by noted architect Robert Couturier blends cool white interiors with colorful fabrics. Artwork from around the world adorns the villa and gives it an eclectic gypset vibe. Casa Alborada features three similarly sized bedrooms, each with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. There is also a spacious TV room which has two queen beds and a bathroom. All of these rooms are air-conditioned.
The sunny and spacious sitting rooms are furnished in vibrant colors to reflect the exotic climate. The outdoor sitting room is especially delightful, and provides a shady and breezy place to relax when the sun is at its peak.
The food served at the villa is a sophisticated cuisine with Mexican and International influences and is almost 100% organic sourced from the estate’s own organic farms. Food harvested in the morning is served at the villa on the same day.
Casa Alborada is located within the secure Cuixmala estate and enjoys all of its many amenities. Rates start at $2,850 per night.
