French carmaker is today best known for its models that are cost-effective, comfortable and safe, designed for modern man to modern needs. But those who know the history, certainly remembers the legendary models from the last century. Citroen is, with its model “Traction Avant“, which is also known as a simple abbreviation “TA“, made a car that has one of the most striking chassis in the history of French cars.
This copy was made in 1938 and is one of only four coupe models made that year. The restoration was done in France, and now the “TA” is ready for car shows.
Most of the work is done on the car chassis and for these purposes it was completely “stripped down”, and only a few metal parts that are completely rotted, were unable to return to the chassis.
The car still has the original engine, but the transmission is not factory, and of course the paint is not original (not endured 80 years) but is adequate for the year of the car. As this model is very rare not surprising its price which is 200,000 euros($250,000).
