Michael Kors is really busy these days. This month, his role as a designer stretches from new Joni clutch to a new range of high-tech accessories. “The men and women who I design for are constantly on the go,’ Kors said. ‘They live full lives, and they need their phones to work from morning until night, breakfast to boardroom, on business trips and vacation.” For this job, he has teamed up with Duracell to create new range of a cutting-edge line of tech accessories, including chargers, phone charging cases and ear buds, designed to resemble women’s cosmetics.
For example, Compact Phone Charger ($68) looks exactly like a compact power case, or Logo Lipstick Phone Charger which is designed after a lipstick tube ($58). Kors also designed Duracell Powermat kits for the iPhone 5s/5 ($140), while versions of the mat for the iPhone 6 are expected to be launched.
Priced from $58 to $140, this new products will be available in stores and online before the end of November, with new models expected to be released early next year.
